College reduces Risky Sex

Adolescents who go off to college for six month’s at a time are less likely to engage in risky sexual behavior as shown by statistics conducted on numbers of students and those who opt not to go to college after high school. This may give credit to the education campaigns being done all over but it may simply have to do with the fact that these kids are too busy worrying about their grades and getting through college. Risky sex is the most known cause of sexually transmitted diseases as people have found out, the more teens stay out of school, the more they are likely to be influenced by the many influencing factors around them. Peer pressure, drugs, alcohol and many others are known to influence the inclination of these kids to well, have sex.
Though it is hard to talk about the matter with your teenage daughter/sons, it would be a good idea to give credit for their effort in college which not only gets them an education in preparation for a career but seems to be keeping them safe from the hazards of teen life. New methods for testing of teens for sexually transmitted diseases are aimed at a more general approach to prevent the distinction or shame that may arise from such steaps. Teens are more concerned about their image rather than their sexual health meaning the more discreet a test is the better for all concerned.
