Yes. There is one sure way to prevent STDs–not by having sex. You can lower your risk of having STD, though, by having sex only with someone who is not having sex with anyone else and anyone who does not have an STD.
On the other hand, you can always use condoms when having sex, and this includes oral and anal sex
