Candidiasis, normally described as yeast infection or thrush, is a fungal infection of any of the Candida species. Candidiasis thereby includes viruses that span from superficial, such as oral thrush and vaginitis, to complete and potentially life-threatening diseases. Candida infections of the latter class are also referred to as candidemia and are typically limited to harshly immunocompromised people such as cancer, transplant, and AIDS patients. Shallow infections of skin in addition to mucosal membranes by Candida is caused by local swelling, irritation and uneasiness. Even as evidently obvious to the presence of the opportunistic pathogens of the type Candida, candidiasis explains come to  of different disease conditions that often vary in their causes and outcomes.
