Abstinence
Another way to avoid sexual transmitted diseases is to refrain from sexual activity completely. This will eliminate the likelihood of contracting STDs. Some religions, go up against sex outside marriage or pre-marital sex. I lieu of contraceptives and safe-sex promotion, maintaining ones virginity until marriage is the best course of action against STD. At the same time, teenagers who abstain from sex is free from early obligation like unwanted pregnancy or early commitment to partner. On the other hand, it doesn’t mean that if you refrain from sex, there is no risk of getting a STD. STDs can be transmitted through contaminated needles or medical and dental procedures.
